Character & Canon: Miyako and Klein (AU/OC of Heartcatch Precure)
District: Mallowhallow
Background: Miyako used to be none other than Dark Precure. She was created by Professor Sabaku in an attempt to replace his daughter, Yuri. In most universes, Miyako remains as Dark Precure and becomes the enemy of the Heartcatch team. In this universe however during the fight between her and Cure Moonlight at the Heart Tree, Cure Moonlight was able to land a blow on Professor Sabaku's mask and breaks it partially to reveal that he is none other than her father. She was swayed by the words of Sabaku and ended up joining him. However Dark Precure still saw Cure Moonlight as an enemy though and continued to attack her and even was able to break Moonlight's Precure Heart Seed and taking a small fraction of it, the fraction that Yuri keeps in most universes. In the end, Sabaku and Moonlight defeat Dark and sent her hurtling towards the Earth where when she landed she hit her head and developed amnesia. Cure Moonlight ended up turning into a villain known as Cure Eclipse while Dark wandered Kibougahana in confusion. Shortly after they became Precure, Tsubomi and Erika found Dark in the streets and brought her to Kaoruko's garden. Seeing as she had no idea of who she even was due to her amnesia, the group ended up giving her the name Miyako. Miyako eventually ended up joining Tsubomi and Erika as a Precure under the name of Cure Night. In response to this early addition to the team, Dune's group increased their efforts and the number of Desertrians attacks. Due to the surge of attacks and purified Heart Seeds, a new fairy known as Klein was created and he attached to the at the time fairyless Miyako. Eventually, Miyako along with Tsubomi and Erika fought Cure Eclipse. The battle was taxing on all of them and deeply confused Miyako as Eclipse referred to her as a fake and 'her shadow'. Cologne, having survived the battle at the Heart Tree, revealed to the group that Cure Eclipse used to be known as Cure Moonlight but kept the fact that she turned while fighting Miyako as Dark Precure a secret to protect Miyako's mind.
Personality: Due to her amnesia, Miyako has developed much differently than she was as Dark Precure. Miyako is very down to Earth and is rather calm which resulted in her being the straight man of the Precure team in her world. As such, it is a little hard to see how she feels as her expressions are small though they have a lot of emotion behind them. This also resulted her being very deadpan even when she is joking around.
Miyako is rather socially awkward and as such is rather overprotective of the few friends she has. She tries to keep a close eye on them as much as possible in case something goes wrong and is quick to jump in if they get in trouble. While she is emotional calm most of the time, there is no easier way to enrage Miyako than to try and hurt one of her friends.
Klein is without a doubt the most hot blooded fairy there is. He is passionate to unrealistic levels and usually screams at the top of his lungs due to this fact. Klein is also slightly stronger than the average fairy, though that is not saying much. As such, Klein believes he can take on anything with his sheer power of will, including high tier Desertrians, which causes him to land into trouble a lot.
Klein's emotions are three times greater than the average fairy which means he always acts over the top and rather hammy. The word 'restraint' literally doesn't exist in Klein's dictionary so he never holds back what he is thinking or feeling. This sadly results in him coming off as rather rude on more than one occasion.
